Job Description

As part of the Nordics Swedish business the successful candidate will sit alongside colleagues located in our Noida office and work closely with Sweden team colleagues based in the Sweden. The core activities that the successful candidate can expect to be involved with include; managing technical deliveries of Civils Project design; preparation of Drawings/Models as per Swedish Standards.

Role Summary

The CAD Technician role will include creation and editing of drawings in compliance with WSP Swedish CAD Standards and detailing practices as well as supervision of CAD Technicians and ensuring high quality output.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the Engineer
• Responsible for all drafting for a particular discipline
• Supervise, coordinate and support CAD Technicians in workload, good detailing practice and work procedures.
• Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy
• Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with WSP Swedish CAD Standards, detailing practices and agreed timescales
• Completion of CAD tasks received from Engineers and CAD Coordinator
• Coordinate and support the Complementary Resources Centers (iCRCs) CAD team
• Generate sections / schedules / schematics from general arrangement drawings
• Ensure drawings are issued, and filed in an appropriate manner
• Conversion of ACAD drawings to other formats such as DWF & PDF
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager
• Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
• Develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field
• Contribute to technical capabilities of the CAD team as a whole
• Attend team and project meetings as required
• Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy.

• Diploma Civil
• Experience of having worked in a similar role.
• Competence in AutoCAD/Revit/Micro station/RCD/Cads RC

• AutoCAD/Revit/Micro station/RCD/Cads RC/any other Cad software

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
