Job Title: ECAD Support Engineer (OrCAD/Allegro/AutoCAD)
We are looking for an experienced
ECAD Support Engineer
to join our global CAD/PDM systems team. This role focuses on providing support for CAD and PDM systems, enabling engineering teams across mechanical and electrical domains, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives such as
MBD, Digital Twin, and CAD-PLM integrations
.
The ideal candidate is currently working in a
CAD/ECAD support role
(not just design), with strong experience supporting ECAD tools, installations, troubleshooting, tool administration, and CAD workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
technical support
for ECAD/CAD tools including
OrCAD, Allegro, AutoCAD, Altium
, and Cadence applications.
Assist users with
installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
of ECAD/CAD and simulation tools.
Administer CAD/PDM systems including
tool access, workflows, libraries, vaults, automation, and integrations
.
Support engineering teams in defining
CAD workflows, design processes, and cross-functional procedures
.
Work on digital transformation initiatives such as:
Model-Based Definition (MBD)
Digital Twin implementation
CAD-PLM integrations
Simulation workflow support
Manage ticketing systems, address user issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
Support system upgrades, environment maintenance, and tool administration activities.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and NPI teams to streamline ECAD processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience
OR
Master's Degree + 4 years of experience
OR
Doctorate + 3 years of experience
(Technical diploma holders with relevant experience can also be considered)
MUST currently be in a
CAD/ECAD Support role
(Design-only profiles will not be considered).
Hands-on support experience in:
ECAD tools: OrCAD, Allegro, Altium, AutoCAD
Cadence
and Xpedition EDM applications
PCB design workflows and component library structures
Strong
IT support background
, including installation, tool support & ticketing.
Experience supporting
simulation tools
and ECAD automations.
Experience with CAD administration, P4, workflows, and business process understanding.
Preferred Skills
Experience with PDM/PLM integrations.
CAD system upgrades and vault consolidation experience.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and IT teams.

Pay: ?2,100,000.00 - ?3,000,000.00 per year
