Our organization is seeking an experienced CAD Structural Draftsperson specializing in steel structures to work remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in steel construction drawings, connection detailing, and pile foundation details, supporting structural and project engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed CAD drawings with Elevation, Section and details for steel structures, Road Gantries and steel construction arrangements.
Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings
Prepare and detail steel connections in coordination with design requirements
Prepare the NOC drawings for Road Gantries by coordinating with Project Engineers.
Draft pile foundation layouts, reinforcement details, and related drawings
Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to resolve design and drafting issues
Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements
Revise drawings based on comments and approvals
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting)
Proven experience in steel construction drafting
Good understanding of steel connection detailing
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with international standards and codes
Familiarity with fabrication and erection drawings
