Position- CAD Specialist
Role Overview
The CAD Specialist is responsible for developing and managing digital patterns and garment designs that support fast, flexible, and sustainable production. This role is central to ensuring precise pattern-making, material efficiency, and seamless collaboration between design, production, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities * Pattern Design & Development

• Create, modify, and optimize garment patterns using CAD software (Gerber, Lectra or similar).
• Ensure patterns are accurate, scalable, and production-ready.
• Production Integration

• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure patterns align with PRODEM's lean production methods and short lead times.
• Optimize marker-making to minimize fabric waste and improve material utilization.
• Data & Documentation

• Maintain a digital library of patterns, blocks, and garment specifications.
• Ensure version control and proper documentation of all CAD files.
• Collaboration & Liaison

• Work as a bridge between design, sales, and production teams to deliver customer-specific designs efficiently.
• Support sales teams with quick visualizations for customer approval.
• Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to automation, robotics, AI, and advanced 3D technologies.
• Recommend improvements in digital workflows to reduce lead time and increase accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology/ CAD/CAM, or related fields.
• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in CAD pattern-making, garment design, or apparel manufacturing, preferably in workwear or industrial clothing.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (Gerber, Lectra or similar).
• Knowledge of marker-making and material efficiency optimization.
