A Textile CAD Operator creates and modifies digital textile designs, including patterns, repeats, and color separations, using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. They work with design and production teams to finalize designs, ensure they meet quality and production standards, and maintain organized CAD files. Develops textile patterns, repeats, and color separations using CAD software like Gemini. A Fabric Programmer and Costing Merchandiser is a role that combines the technical expertise of fabric management with the financial oversight of garment costing. This professional is responsible for both sourcing and managing fabric, ensuring it meets quality and cost requirements, and then calculating the overall cost of producing a garment, factoring in fabric, other materials, labor, and overheads.
