Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

CAD Designer

to support our textile and garment design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating digital designs, repeating patterns, and color separations using CAD software. The role requires strong aesthetic sense, technical precision, and knowledge of textile printing or garment design.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate CAD layouts, repeats, and colorways for fabric designs and garment prints. Collaborate with designers and merchandisers to develop and modify artwork. Prepare digital files for screen printing, digital printing, or embroidery. Ensure color accuracy and resolution as per production standards. Maintain design archives and organize CAD files for sampling and production. Modify and adapt customer-provided artwork as per product specifications. Generate virtual mock-ups or placement prints for buyer presentations.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in software like

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar CAD tools (knowledge in Gerber and Gemini will be preferable)

Strong understanding of textile design, repeats, color matching, and print/embroider techniques. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines. Creative thinking with an eye for commercial trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or CAD-related field. 5 years+ of experience in CAD designing in a textile or garment export house.
