Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Conduct market research, analyze forecasts, and compare trends to stay ahead of the curve. \xc2\xb7 Create trend presentations throughout the season, applying new ideas to our market. \xc2\xb7 Utilize CAD software for sketching, tech sheets, and 3D rendering, with a focus on Women clothing areas. Design on CAD, print artworks to allow mills to understand and make strike off for approval. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal departments for sample development, including sample room, product development, and technical teams. \xc2\xb7 Track samples and strike-offs to ensure accuracy and timeliness in sample development. \xc2\xb7 Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Design, Merchandising, sourcing, Technical, and Product Development) to meet style, quality, and price development objectives. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to calendar deadlines and understand the fabric development process through market research and attending textile shows. Education/Experiences: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Fashion Design, or related field. \xc2\xb7 3-5 years of relevant experience. \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable in Women Apparel design, knits, woven, and 3D presentations. \xc2\xb7 Proficient in Mac-based Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and Office 360 programs. \xc2\xb7 Experience with PLM Systems and 3D Software is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of apparel design and product development. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience working with artwork and graphics. Skills and Abilities: .Should have knowledge about both CAD and Designing. \xc2\xb7 Excellent Illustrator skills, along with proficiency in Photoshop. \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of patternmaking and technical design. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with screen printing, novelty techniques, and sublimation. \xc2\xb7 Background in Women, Missy, Plus and Petite or Activewear is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of fabrics and 3D design is advantageous. \xc2\xb7 Team player and problem solver. \xc2\xb7 Critical thinking and analysis. \xc2\xb7 Proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. \xc2\xb7 Flexible and adaptable, quick to learn new programs and processes. \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask, reprioritize frequently, and work under pressure and tight deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Translate market trends into customer-focused designs.
