For more than 95 years, VetterTec, headquartered in Kassel, Germany, has been developing and manufacturing machines and systems for industrial drying and dewatering, primarily for the food industry. As a world-wide operating company, we generate more than 85% of our sales abroad. The key to our success is our team of over 160 employees at six locations.

CAD Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

Create and manage 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.

Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for shell, tube bundles, housing, and associated components.

Maintain drawing revisions and documentation using Autodesk Vault.

Provide immediate on-site support to the production team for drawing clarifications and design adjustments.

Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and accuracy of designs.

Ensure compliance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) in all relevant designs.

Assist in BOM generation and drawing release processes.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for drawing-related queries

Your Profile:

You have a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field Preferable experience of Dewatering & Drying application & technologies especially in Industries like- Alcohol, Starch & Grain, Vegetable Oil, etc.

You have 5+ years of experience in CAD modelling and drafting for mechanical equipment or pressure vessels.

You are proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Vault.

You have Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and fabrication standards and are Familiarity with IBR codes and documentation.

You have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and can work independently and respond quickly to production needs.

You can work in a very structured, sustainable and independent manner

You possess very good written & verbal communication skills

You have Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems and good MS Office skills and Knowledge of Indian supplier market

Knowledge of German or other language is advantageous.
