Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate CAD Engineer Faculty - Mechanical to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in mechanical CAD design, ensuring they gain a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver curriculum for mechanical CAD courses, including lecture materials, hands-on exercises, and assessments. Teach students various CAD software tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and others. Provide practical training and support to students in developing their CAD design skills. Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams. Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in mechanical engineering and CAD. Mentor and guide students in their academic and career development. Participate in curriculum development and course planning activities. Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to enhance the learning experience. Conduct workshops, seminars, and additional training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) in a professional or educational setting. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
