Contract Position: CAD Engineer - Dombivli

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a skilled

CAD Engineer

to join our team on a

contractual basis

, supporting the product design team in achieving global growth targets. This role focuses on the generation and maintenance of drawings and BOMs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for our valves product line.

Key Responsibilities

Convert legacy data and review drawings with existing manufacturing components. Create part and assembly models using smart CAD practices (solid and surface modeling). Perform tolerance stack-up analysis. Prepare complete drawing packages including manufacturing drawings, assemblies, GADs, and BOMs. Collaborate with design, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering teams to meet product design requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

+ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or
+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in valves or pump industry.

Technical Skills:

+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
+ Familiarity with PLM/EPDM systems and standards like ASME, API, EN.
+ Solid/surface modeling certification in SolidWorks is preferred.
+ Experience with CAD customization is a plus.

Soft Skills:

+ Strong collaboration and communication skills.
+ Methodical approach with attention to detail.
+ Comfortable working in an international environment with professional English proficiency.
