About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

CAD Designer

with hands-on experience in

SolidWorks or NX software

to design and develop 2D & 3D models of Plastic, Rubber, and Metal components. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, capable of performing part modeling, understanding mold design concepts, and conducting part inspection using precision instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate

2D drawings and 3D models

of plastic, rubber, and metal parts Perform

Part Modeling

using SolidWorks/ NX (mandatory) Prepare product design layouts, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering drawings Conduct

part inspection

and quality checks to verify dimensions and tolerances Use measuring instruments such as

Vernier Caliper ,Micrometer

and

Scale

Collaborate with the manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams to ensure feasibility Understand basic concepts of

Plastic Molds and Rubber Molds

(knowledge is an asset) Modify, revise, and update existing CAD files as per design changes Maintain all design data and ensure documentation accuracy Support new product development (NPD) and engineering activities Ensure all designs adhere to technical standards and customer requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in

SolidWorks or NX software

(mandatory) Knowledge of design principles for

Plastic, Rubber, and Metal parts

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications Understanding of mold design concepts (preferred but not mandatory) Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to perform dimensional inspection Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation Ability to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams

Experience:1-3 years

in CAD Designing

Education:

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or related fields

Software Expertise:

SolidWorks and NX software

(Primary Software) Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD tools (optional advantage)

Work Type:

Full-time, Work From Office (6 days a week)
