Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on expertise in CREO, Windchill, and PLM platforms (Teamcenter or Innovia). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in plastic part design, sheet metal components, and mechanical assemblies, as well as the ability to create 3D models and 2D drawings compliant with ISO standards. A background in tooling, machining, and manufacturing processes (moulds, press tools, roll forming) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings using CREO, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ISO mechanical drawing standards. Manage design data and workflows within Windchill or equivalent PLM software (Teamcenter, Innovia). Perform design reviews, incorporate feedback, and release finalized drawings through PLM systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Apply best practices in plastic part design, sheet metal design, and assembly Modeling. Provide input and support in tooling development, including moulds, press tools, and roll forming processes. Ensure adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree (or Diploma with relevant experience) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5-7 years of CAD design experience with expertise in CREO and Windchill. Familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Innovia. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and ISO standards for drawings. Proven ability to design plastic components, sheet metal parts, and mechanical assemblies. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, including tooling, moulds, press tools, and roll forming. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to design tasks.
