Job Description

1. Prepare Detailed Drawings:

Create accurate and detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings using drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and specifications to produce comprehensive construction drawings.

2. Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate design elements into construction plans. Coordinate with various teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless project execution.

3. Site Visits and Inspections:

Conduct site visits to assess progress and accuracy of construction work in relation to the drawings. Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction and make necessary revisions to drawings.

4. Drafting Standards:

Maintain consistency in drafting standards and ensure that all drawings are clear, legible, and organized. Develop and adhere to the company's or project-specific drafting guidelines.

5. Quality Control:

Perform quality checks on drawings to identify errors or omissions before submission to construction teams. Assist in reviewing and approving shop drawings and submittals from contractors.

6. Communication:

Effectively communicate design intent through drawings and documents to all stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to clarify design details and address inquiries

7. Problem-Solving:

- Identify and resolve design-related issues, offering creative solutions when necessary. - Work with the project team to make modifications and adjustments to drawings as required.

8. Time Management:

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for the delivery of drafting work. - Prioritize tasks based on project schedules and urgency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

Design & Drafting: 2 years (Preferred)
