Job Description

We are seeking a detail-orientated and experienced

CAD Draftsman

to join our team. This role involves converting 3D modular designs into precise technical drawings suitable for production. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD expertise, knowledge of modular furniture standards, and familiarity with production/installation processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Interior Designers to gather design specifications and hardware requirements. Convert 3D modular designs into accurate technical production drawings. Prepare and review cutting lists suitable for modular production. Calculate material requirements, dimensions, and weight limitations. Use CAD software to create and validate detailed drawings. Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Identify and resolve operational or functional design issues. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Document product manuals and technical guidelines.

Requirements

Degree in

Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Design

(B.Sc. or equivalent).

3-4 yrs

of experience as a Technical Designer, Draftsman, or similar role. Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.). In-depth knowledge of modular standards, hardware, and production requirements. Familiarity with production software such as

Infurnia, Naadi, Palette CAD

(preferred). Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
