Core Responsibilities

Drafting and Modeling

Create detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, assembly diagrams, and models for machine components using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.

Interpret hand sketches, verbal instructions, technical specifications, and engineering inputs to produce precise drafts for manufacturing and construction.

Design Support and Revisions

Modify and optimize drawings based on feedback, testing outcomes, simulations, or project changes, incorporating material properties and tolerances.

Assist in prototyping phases by providing support for assembly, BOM preparation, and quality checks during WIP inspections.

Documentation and Collaboration

Maintain organized digital/physical files of drawings, specifications, calculations, and revisions; ensure adherence to drafting standards and codes. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and technical institutes during team reviews, brainstorming, and project updates.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/BE) in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. o 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a CAD Draftsman, preferably in machine design, manufacturing, or shopfloor environments with CNC/WIP exposure.
