Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Design retail fixtures, display units, shopfittings, kiosks, signage, POP/POS elements, and store furniture.

Develop fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, and BOMs for production.

Visualize and render retail concepts to support client presentations.

Modify existing retail designs based on shop floor or client requirements.

Work closely with the production, installation, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

Ensure designs meet structural, material, and manufacturing standards.

Maintain drawing documentation and ensure compliance with retail brand guidelines.

Participate in design reviews and propose improvements for cost efficiency and manufacturability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Proven experience in the retail industry (e.g., fixtures, interiors, display units, visual merchandising).

Strong understanding of materials like wood, metal, acrylic, glass, sheet metal, and joinery.

Ability to interpret sketches, specifications, and retail design guidelines.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes: CNC, laser cutting, welding, carpentry, and assembly.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and design aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with PDM or project management tools

Knowledge of 3D rendering/visualization tools

Experience in store layout planning or interior design .

Ability to work under fast deadlines in a retail project environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
