Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
Analysis:
Conduct simulations and stress analyses to validate design integrity.
Documentation:
Maintain and update design documentation, standards, and revisions.
Problem-solving:
Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support.
Essential skills and qualifications
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD software is required.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and processes.
Experience with sheet metal design, design for manufacturability (DFM), and advanced CAD techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
A degree in a relevant field like Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is often preferred, though some roles may not require a degree.
