The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and production-ready jewellery designs using CAD software. The role requires close coordination with the design, casting, and production teams to ensure designs meet technical, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Create 2D and 3D CAD models for gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery. Convert sketches and reference designs into detailed CAD files. Ensure designs are feasible for casting, setting, and finishing processes. Revise designs based on management, client, or production feedback. Maintain precision in dimensions, weights, stone placements, and tolerances. Prepare CAD files for CAM, wax printing, and casting. Coordinate with casting, setting, and QC teams to resolve design issues. Maintain proper documentation and version control of CAD files. Follow company SOPs, confidentiality, and data security policies. Achieve productivity and quality targets defined by management.
Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in

Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar jewellery CAD software

. Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes. Knowledge of metal weights, stone setting techniques, and structural stability. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under production deadlines. Effective coordination and communication skills.
Educational Qualification

Diploma / Certification in Jewellery CAD Designing

OR

Graduate with relevant experience in jewellery CAD design.Experience

1-3 years

experience in a jewellery manufacturing environment.
