Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using
SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent software
Design parts, assemblies, and
moulds (injection, compression, or similar)
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, including tolerances and GD&T
Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and production teams
Review designs for manufacturability (DFM) and mould feasibility
Maintain CAD data, BOMs, and revision control
Support prototyping, tooling trials, and production readiness
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or related field
Proven experience as a CAD Designer
Proficiency in
SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar CAD tools
Working knowledge of mould making and tooling processes
Understanding of manufacturing methods and material behavior
Preferred / Ideal Qualifications
Experience in the automotive industry (strong advantage / ideal)
Experience with plastic injection moulds, die casting, or rubber moulds
Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and industry standards (ISO, ASME)
Experience with CAM software is a plus
