Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with expertise in 2D and 3D modeling for sheet metal, structural components, pressure vessels, and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with the ability to translate design requirements into accurate and efficient CAD models for manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for sheet metal, structural fabrications, pressure vessels, and piping systems. Prepare fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings as per project requirements. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety guidelines, and client specifications. Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and project managers to optimize designs for manufacturability. Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design changes. Maintain proper documentation and CAD file management for all projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, welding symbols, GD&T, and fabrication drawings. Familiarity with pressure vessel and piping design standards will be an added advantage. Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong skills may also be considered).
