Role Overview

:

The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and innovative designs that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements. Create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for manufacturing or construction purposes. Revise and update existing designs to meet project needs or client feedback. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Maintain and organize design files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility. Assist in the development of prototypes and models when necessary. Provide technical support to the production or construction teams as required. Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to design solutions.

Qualifications

Education

:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field.

Experience

:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a CAD Designer in aerospace

Skills

:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CATIA, etc.). Strong knowledge of design principles, technical drawings, and materials. Familiarity with 3D printing or CNC machining is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and precision. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations. Willingness to stay updated with the latest CAD software and design trends.
