Job role: CAD DESIGNER
Experience: 3-8 years
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary
Create/edit designs using Textile CAD software including NedGraphics, Photoshop and Coreldraw for Household products.
Summary Of Role Responsibilities
- Create/edit/clean designs as per brief from designers
- Produce ideas for concept development for both soft and hard goods
- Effectively use relevant design software like Nedgraphics, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator
- Keep abreast of and upgrade to newer design technologies/software/tools
- Demonstrate expertise in textile repeats/color separation/screen development & other technical aspects of textile industry
- Create/edit/clean designs as per brief from designers
- Create designs that are possible for vendor to develop as required
- Produce ideas for concept development for both soft and hard goods
- Develop a keen eye for color, texture and pattern
- Analyze technical aspects of the product and cost reduction parameters
- Regularly interact with vendors for translating the concept into products
- Keep abreast of and upgrade to newer design technologies/software/tools
- Effectively use relevant design software like Nedgraphics, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator
- Demonstrate expertise in textile repeats/color separation/screen development and other
- technical aspects of the textile industry.
