This internship offers hands-on exposure to real vehicle development work, from early styling concepts to detailed CAD surfacing and packaging.
You will work closely with experienced automotive engineers and designers and gain practical industry experience using professional CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of vehicle design concepts (exterior, interior, and layout).
Create and modify 3D CAD models using tools such as
CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX (UG NX), or Creo
.
Develop surface and solid models based on sketches, styling inputs, and engineering guidelines.
Assist in packaging studies, layout development, and basic feasibility checks.
Prepare CAD data, renders, and simple presentations for internal reviews.
Support design iterations based on feedback from engineering and styling teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
CATIA / SolidWorks / Siemens NX (UG NX) / Creo
.
Basic understanding of vehicle architecture, components, or styling principles.
Strong interest in vehicle design and mobility.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
Exposure to automotive or Class-A surfacing.
Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
Interest in automotive styling, sketching, or visualization.
