Position Summary

We are seeking a

Remote CAD Design Intern

to support our Head Engineer and contribute to client projects as well as internal initiatives. This paid internship spans 12 weeks, with the possibility of a full-time role based on performance. Candidates with knowledge of CAD design, simulation, and a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals will excel in this role. The position requires a late-day India shift to allow collaboration with US-based clients and team members.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and refining CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Conduct basic simulations and analysis using tools such as ANSYS or similar software. Support research efforts related to materials, processes, and suppliers for client projects. Contribute to internal projects aimed at improving design workflows and manufacturability. Participate in virtual meetings with clients and the internal team to understand requirements and share updates. Work collaboratively with the Head Engineer on real-world engineering challenges.
Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Familiarity with 2D/3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or ANSYS. Basic understanding of engineering principles and how they relate to manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for virtual collaboration. Previous project or internship experience in engineering is a plus.
Requirements

Personal computer with required engineering/CAD software installed. Availability to work late-day India shift (afternoon start). Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.
Internship Structure

12 Weeks

: Paid internship with regular feedback and mentorship.

Post-Internship

: Potential for a full-time offer based on strong performance.
