About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Use CAD software to develop detailed 2D/3D designs for furniture products.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements.
3. Transform design concepts into practical and feasible product designs.
4. Conduct design reviews and optimize functionality and aesthetics.
5. Generate bills of materials and production drawings.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design ideas.
7. Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers to resolve issues and maintain design intent.
8. Maintain organized design documentation.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor\'s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
2. CAD design experience in the furniture industry (preferable).
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
5. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Understanding of ergonomic principles and human factors.
7. Familiarity with product development and testing.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
