Job Description

We are seeking a talented CAD Draftsman to join our team of infrastructure modelers. As a CAD Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models of various infrastructure projects using CAD software. You will work closely with our team to interpret project requirements, incorporate client feedback, and deliver high-quality models that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D and 3D models of infrastructure projects based on provided specifications and drawings. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions. Ensure models adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Produce detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for construction purposes. Conduct quality checks on completed models to ensure accuracy and completeness. Stay updated on CAD software advancements and industry best practices to enhance modeling techniques and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD software

such as

AutoCAD, BIM, Civil 3D

or similar programs. Strong understanding of

2D and 3D modeling principles and techniques

. Understanding of

Structural analysis and design

Ability to

interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in modeling complex structures. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges and implement innovative solutions. Experience in infrastructure modeling or related fields is preferred but not required.
