• BIM Model Creation and Management:

• Develop, update, and maintain MEP BIM models utilizing industry-standard software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, standards, and protocols to maintain model accuracy and integrity.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination:

• Conduct thorough coordination of MEP models with other disciplines, including structural and architectural components.
• Implement rigorous clash detection and resolution processes to mitigate potential conflicts.
• Technical Documentation and Detailing:

• Produce precise drawings, layouts, and shop drawings in strict accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and implement robust version control measures for all BIM models.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Perform regular and systematic quality checks to ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Promptly identify and report any design or coordination issues to senior team members for immediate resolution.
• Professional Development and Knowledge Transfer:

• Maintain current knowledge of cutting-edge BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
• Provide essential support to senior modellers and project leads in training and mentoring initiatives.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.

Professional Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable, hands-on experience in BIM modeling for MEP systems is required.
• Proven track record of involvement in MEP design and coordination for commercial, residential, or industrial projects is essential.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, or equivalent BIM platforms is non-negotiable.
• Comprehensive understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and workflows is crucial.
• Demonstrated expertise in clash detection methodologies and resolution processes is imperative.

Critical Competencies

• Exceptional attention to detail and advanced problem-solving capabilities are paramount.
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams are essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to emerging technologies and industry best practices in BIM is required.
