Job Description

The Quantitative Aptitude Lecturer for CA/CMA programs is responsible for delivering high-quality education in quantitative aptitude, ensuring students develop a robust understanding and proficiency required for CA (Chartered Accountant) and CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) exams. The lecturer will create an engaging learning environment, utilize diverse teaching methodologies, and provide academic support to help students achieve their professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:



Curriculum Development:

Develop and update curriculum content to align with CA/CMA syllabus and examination patterns. Create comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.

Instruction and Teaching:

Deliver lectures and conduct interactive sessions on quantitative aptitude topics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, and data interpretation. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including lectures, discussions, and practical problem-solving sessions.

Student Assessment:

Design and administer quizzes, tests, and examinations to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their performance.

Academic Support:

Offer one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students requiring additional help. Organize and conduct workshops, revision sessions, and exam preparation seminars.

Research and Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and updates in the field of quantitative aptitude and professional accounting exams. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to academic research.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to academic committees, and collaborate with colleagues on program improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:



Educational Background:

Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification in CA/CMA or equivalent is highly desirable.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in quantitative aptitude or related subjects, preferably in a CA/CMA educational setting. Proven track record of helping students succeed in competitive exams.

Skills:

Strong command of quantitative aptitude concepts and their applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in using educational technology and online teaching platforms. Ability to engage and motivate students.
