The Cab Supervisor is responsible for managing end-to-end employee transportation operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant cab movements for IT employees across all shifts.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Shift Operations
Manage cab deployment and trip execution for assigned shift (pickup & drop).
Ensure adherence to shift-wise schedules and SLAs.
Coordinate with drivers for on-time trip start and completion.
Driver & Vehicle Management
Brief drivers before shift start regarding routes, employees, and instructions.
Verify driver documents, vehicle fitness, GPS functionality, and cab hygiene.
Handle driver attendance, replacements, and breakdown support.
Employee Coordination
Act as the first point of contact for employee transport-related issues.
Address no-shows, late pickups, route changes, and emergency situations.
Ensure women employee safety protocols are strictly followed (especially night shifts).
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with IT client transport policies and statutory norms.
Monitor speed, route deviation, panic alerts, and trip adherence through tracking systems.
Report incidents, delays, or deviations to the Operations Manager immediately.
Reporting & MIS
Update shift-wise trip status, attendance, and exception reports.
Maintain records for deployment, delays, complaints, and corrective actions.
Submit daily shift closure and handover reports.
Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with cab vendors for vehicle availability and replacements.
Escalate vendor issues related to quality, punctuality, or behavior.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and multitasking skills
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, transport software, GPS systems)
Good communication skills (English + local language)
Ability to handle pressure during peak hours and night shifts
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualification & Experience
Education: Any Graduate / Diploma / +2 (preferred)
Experience: 1-3 years in employee transportation / logistics / cab operations
IT/Corporate transport experience preferred
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts including night shifts
On-site and field coordination role
May require extended hours during peak operations or exigencies
