Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with strong expertise in GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Experience with AWS CICD, Azure CICD, and GitLab CI/CD is a plus. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with Terraform and CloudFormation given equal preference. Experience with Pulumi is a plus. Ensure smooth and secure movement of product features across different environments (development, staging, production) by understanding and managing the complete product release cycle. Integrate and maintain collaborative platform connections within CI/CD pipelines, such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook, and notification services from AWS, Azure to identify and implement effective integration opportunities. Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS OR Azure). Implement containerized architectures from scratch, with strong experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), leveraging either self-hosted or managed solutions based on project demands. Automate infrastructure configuration using tools like Ansible and Puppet. Experience with Chef is a plus. Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure robust and secure releases. Document infrastructure and deployment setups comprehensively to enable efficient knowledge sharing and future maintenance. Ensure adherence to security best practices in cloud and on-premises environments. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and recommend solutions. Must be capable of planning production deployments with considerations for disaster recovery, scalability, and security. Should excel at designing deployment architectures tailored to customer requirements. Strong skills in planning configuration, repository management, and branching strategies are essential. Should be able to effectively manage, plan, and optimize cloud resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications

8-10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role and minimum 3+ years as a leading DevOps team. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Jenkins are mandatory, with additional experience in GitLab CI, AWS CICD, or Azure CICD). Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform and CloudFormation equally preferred). Experience in infrastructure configuration automation using Ansible and Puppet. Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments and shell scripting. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Strong experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes. Ability to design and implement containerized solutions from the ground up. Understanding of security best practices for cloud infrastructure. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in cloud technologies (AWS or Azure). Experience with additional infrastructure and configuration management tools like Chef. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Exposure to serverless computing and service mesh technologies.
