HSBC GTRF serves as a core service provider for Commercial (CMB) and Global Banking (GBM) customers. Supply Chain Solutions (\'SCS\') is one of the key growth target areas for the GTRF product line within the CMB and GBM sectors and includes both the Payment Agency and Reverse Factoring products. Across Asia Pacific, HSBC facilitates 400 live SCS programmes that enables 20,000 enrolled suppliers manage and shorten time to obtain invoice payments. One of the key success factors of SCS programmes is the ability to market the benefits of the Supply Chain program to targeted suppliers in an effort to monetize each program, and ensure a great enrolment experience with the bank, followed by proactive management of program utilization and effective support. Reporting into the India Implementation Lead, the role holder will co-ordinate with regional and in-country Solutions Implementation teams to establish a supplier engagement and penetration strategy for SCS programs. This includes the marketing of SCS programmes to the suppliers to achieve the highest possible revenue results from the SCS programmes, oversee day to day communications for important suppliers and where local language is a constraint, and support supplier marketing of cross-region SCS programmes where the main supplier catchment is based in Asia Pacific. The role will have accountability for contributing to and following the global best practices for executing GTRF\'s Supplier Engagement strategies and associated activities such as conducting SCS portfolio analysis and management and to ensure that Supplier activity and utilisation is maximized. Principal Responsibilities Impact on Business . Support the delivery of revenue to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and maximise the extent to which client needs are met for GTRF . Seek ongoing improvements to the supplier engagement processes . Leverage Client feedback to shape supplier engagement strategy and new process enhancement . Support Client Implementation manager to ensure the efficient completion of technical and operational on-boarding activities for suppliers. . Assist in lead generation for buyer programmes as well as supplier cross sell . Support Client Implementation manager to ensure Credit/Risk recommendations and other GTRF Procedures Guidelines / Manuals are implemented and adhered to Customers / Stakeholders . Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong working relationships . Support the Client Implementation Manager to ensure successful transition of customer transactions to HSBC as per the agreed solution implemented by monitoring revenues against Estimated Business Value (EBV) . Work closely with colleagues across Business Development, providing support on deals as required Operational Effectiveness & Control . Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together . Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures . Continuously monitor and gather information from relevant sources to assess potential impacts and identify risks, necessary changes and business opportunities . Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance Observation of Internal Controls . The jobholder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures. . The term \'compliance\' embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators. Requirements Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher Comfortable in managing discussions with Procurement teama and reach out to suppliers to effectively market the programme\'s benefits to suppliers. Coordinate and execute enrolment of suppliers for various SCS programmes in India and work closely by coordinating with supplier engagement teams across HSBC\'s Asia Pacific network. Be the main engagement point of contact for both buyer and suppliers for assigned mandated programmes. Manage engagement strategy to achieve the highest possible revenue results (top spend suppliers, auto finance, pricing negotiations) Ensure end-to-end process is clear to supplier and all information is relayed in a timely manner. Handhold suppliers through the enrolment process until they are comfortable with the programme. Manage communication with back-office operational teams to ensure timely Supplier set-up and activation.
