About the Position

We are looking for a

Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter)

who can support audit assignments and day-to-day audit operations. The role is suitable for individuals who have completed CA Inter and have practical exposure to audit work in a CA firm environment.

Role ResponsibilitiesAudit Execution

Carry out audit work as per instructions from the audit lead or partner. Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation. Assist in reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy of disclosures. Perform audit procedures in line with Standards on Auditing (SAs).

Internal Audit Support

Participate in internal audit fieldwork and document key observations. Test internal controls, verify transactions, and identify process concerns. Contribute to drafting internal audit findings and basic management notes.

Compliance & Reporting

Support the team in meeting statutory timelines for audits and filings. Maintain organized audit documentation for review and reference. Coordinate with client teams to collect information and resolve queries.

General Responsibilities

Manage assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines. Work effectively with seniors and team members on multiple engagements. Maintain professionalism in client interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA (passed IPCC or equivalent).

3-4 years of relevant experience in a CA Firm is mandatory.

Practical exposure to statutory or internal audit work. Good understanding of basic accounting principles and audit techniques. Ability to prepare working papers and audit documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Salary Range

Up to ₹4,00,000 per annum

Additional Information

The role may require short visits to client sites within Chennai. Candidates must be available for a full-time on-site position.
