Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Month-End and Year-End Close:
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
• General Ledger Management:
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and subsidiary ledgers.
• Perform periodic reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Internal Controls:
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to identify and address control weaknesses.
• Tax Compliance:
• Work closely with external tax advisors and internal teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial performance.
