Key responsibilities
o General Ledger Management: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, process journal entries, and handle all GL-related activities. o Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements, and provide support for budgeting and forecasting. o Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations, cross-check entries against source documents, and resolve discrepancies. o Month-end and Year-end Close: Play a key role in executing the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. o Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure financial records comply with GAAP and other regulations, and assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary schedules and data. o Coordination: Liaise with other finance teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury, to ensure smooth operations. o Fixed Assets: Track and maintain the fixed asset ledger, and handle the setup of new fixed assets and projects. o Reporting: Assist with statutory, regulatory, and ad hoc financial reporting.
Required qualifications
o Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. o Experience: 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role. o Skills: o Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. o Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
