The Ops Sup Sr. Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.
To review sanction-related restrictions/ prohibitions alerts from CSAW-T system and perform L2 disposition.
Review, investigate and provide the final disposition of potential sanctions-related concerns that occur in account, relationship, securities holding, or transactions
Monitoring adherence to Citi?s Global Sanctions Policy and relevant procedures; staying current on key Sanctions regulatory changes, key enforcement actions and related industry trends
Supporting efforts in connection Internal Audit and functional regulators in Program exams and evaluations; tracks and challenges remedial actions from the front line units.
Drafting and editing sanctions-related reference materials; support the various electronic record-keeping logs for sanctions documents/Guidance and participate in sanctions training programs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and partner with peers in sites and functions for effective and strong and governance for the legal vehicle.
To complete the dispositioning before cut off time is a must To send email to frontline staff for getting an additional KYC information from customer.
To produce daily MIS and follow up the aging cases Update department procedure when needed
To support UAT discussion and participate in testing
To perform Quality Review, prepare deliverable for IA or MCA review.
Open to new suggestion, be vocal on own ideas and ability to do multi-tasking.
Ensures internal reviews and external examinations are well managed with clearly evidenced controls.
Proactively identifies emerging risks and assists the control team with resolving control gaps and issues and helps to create corrective action plans, inclusive of root cause identification and resolution.
Ad hoc control / audit related requests as needed.
Serve as partner on Manager Control Assessment (MCA) Quarterly Risk Assessment and the Annual Risk Assessment process.
Actively focus on process improvement, creating efficiencies, and ensuring proactive approach and partnership to audit management
Coordinate and contribute to initiatives that support the goals of the function and overall business
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Maintain a controlled environment, by ensuring proper awareness, timely guidance is provided to functions for KRI enhancement.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of related business experience including at least one-year supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proactive leadership and motivational skills
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor?s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
