The insurance industry relies on a rich set of tools for predictive analytics and risk management. Actuaries build models that process vast amounts of data. There is an urgent need for software that can run these models fast enough so that they can be effectively used in real-time decision making. We built Tyche to address this need.

Tyche is a game-changing platform that has been built from the ground up with usability and performance in mind. Tyche allows users to express their calculations in a very natural way, and calculations that used to run overnight with other software can now be run in minutes. Our clients leverage Tyche to achieve their regulatory and business goals both interactively and as the engine powering our expanding portfolio of SAAS solutions for business-critical insurance workflows.

Essential skills in Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years of working C#. net experience on Windows desktops and servers
• Educated to degree level. Qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science
• Passionate about technology, and writing well-designed, well-tested code
• Personable with the ability to build great relationships and collaborate with colleagues and clients
• Able to communicate and explain complex ideas to others
• Ability to write high quality, high performance C# code backed by strong academics and a fundamental understanding of .NET.

Desirable skills:

• Cloud - Azure/AWS/Google Compute
• Web applications/services
• A solid understanding of computer hardware, and how to write performant code.
• Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies
• Microsoft HPC
• WPF
• OpenMP
• C++ experience
