Job Summary:


Flowserve is looking for a Buyer Senior to help achieve our team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of sourced components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines, in accordance with recommendations of global Supply Chain Team. In this role you will develop and implement purchasing strategies by supporting the Commercial Operations team regarding Castings, Buy outs and Fabrication procurement activities, developing our strategy in the engineered markets, with the goal of increasing our profitability and our on-time delivery. You will work on strengthening the alignment of the Company's Purchasing strategy and business strategy. Having the full ownership of the suppliers portfolio, you will work in close relationship with supply team to improve our delivery.


Responsibilities & Requirements:


Ensuring release of PO's to respective suppliers against PR's per LT guidelines Followup and get the OA's Align the supplier promise dates between Planning and suppliers Update Oracle system on supplier promise dates against respective lines Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders. Ensure On Time Delivery per KPI targets Coordination with logistics for pick up of ready parts Ensure smooth inwarding of goods Resolve and Invoice related issues Monitor and Improve supplier's performance
Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site. And any other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:


BE in Mechanical Engineering with 10 - 15 years of Experience Strong knowledge on Castings, Buy outs and Fab commodities Proficiency in Supply Chain Management Fluency in English Good understanding of all the main purchasing areas: negotiations, evaluation and development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc. Knowledge of the requirements of our markets Global and strategic negotiating skills Good Team player and Capable of leading a team Strong knowledge on ERP systems Ability to Influence, communicate and collaborate at all Organization levels
