We are looking for an experienced Buyer based in Ernakulam who is willing to travel within and outside Kerala for vendor sourcing and business requirements. The Buyer will be responsible for procurement planning, vendor management, and ensuring timely availability of products at optimal cost and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase products/materials as per business requirements
Identify and develop vendors within Kerala and outside the state
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Travel within and outside Kerala for vendor meetings and sourcing
Place purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams
Ensure quality standards are met as per company requirements
Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and vendor details
Coordinate with finance for invoice processing and payments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Buyer (experience is mandatory)
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Willingness to travel extensively within and outside Kerala
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Preferred:
Experience in retail / fashion / FMCG industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
