: Introduction Amazon is seeking bright, motivated and hardworking individuals to fill Warehouse Procurement Buyer Position at our FC (fulfillment center). The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethics, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. This position may be required to receive products using radio frequency scanners, Pallet jacks and walkies-riders. FC Procurement PA may also be required to pick customer orders on all levels of a multi-level mezzanine, pack and ship customer orders and troubleshoot problems to resolution. FC Procurement PA are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards, and be willing to work in multiple shifts. The position also required a strong will on the part of the candidate to fit into any role that needs to perform in the fulfillment center not limited to picking an order, stowing a cart and loading or unloading of material. The job is demanding, and filled with learning and fun, as we aim to provide the best services to our customers at all times. Requirements of the Position Each employee must be able to perform all of the job duties and physical requirements in the work environment as described below on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation in order to meet the requirements of the job as a FC Procurement PA: Process Assistant Best Behavior Listening to associates and be supportive to managers. Answering requests and always gets back to people. Must exhibit the best behavior while at work. Always be up to date with the latest techniques, tools, and processes. Be right, honest, and be willing to accept mistakes. Be willing to push their limits and accept more responsibilities. Job Role and Responsibilities Experience in procurement of consumables and Packaging Material Knowledge of MS Excel Knowledge of Inventory Management and Cycle Counts. Liaising with suppliers on delivery status to ensure there are no risks to Inventory Maintenance of Procurement records and databases (e.g Order tracking) Maintaining clear documentation and audit trail of procurement activities. Delivering policy and process training to requester and key stakeholders/functions. Utilizing multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics. Managing the relationship with our internal customers and suppliers. Leadership - Lead team of associates. Develop and manage cross functional team to meet the operational needs. Takes ownership of daily/weekly/monthly tasks as well as adhoc tasks. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels. Administrative Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels to manage expectations and push back where appropriate. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma / Engineering / Any Graduate and must have experience of 1 to 4 years in the field of packaging. Willing to work all shifts including Night Shift. Willing to work on overtime as and when required. Able to read, write and take direction/instructions in English. Able to frequently push, pull, bend, and reach. Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills. Willing to regularly stand and/or walk during Shifts. Willing to Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts. Push and pull product which are heavy in nature. Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists. Work Environment Should able Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts. Noise level varies and can be loud. Working nights, weekends and during festivals holidays may be required. Preferred Skills and Qualification Diploma / Engineering / Any Graduate and must have experience of 1 to 4 years in the field of packaging. Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills. Commitment to a culture of safety. Advance knowledge of computers, networking, internet knowledge and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) as per job requirement. Excellent written and oral communication, with good email etiquette.
