Job Description

The Butler is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of a household, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the residents. This role combines traditional butler duties with house management responsibilities.


Supervising household staff and training as required

Managing household expenses - handling petty cash

Ensure availability of perishable, fruits, veggies, milk etc on daily basis - depending on what Chef has advised (done a day before) - ensure that there is no wastage and balance is maintained

Managing household schedules and routines

Serving meals, drinks, and attending guests as required

Setting up and managing formal dining, table settings, and etiquette.

Overseeing special events and gatherings at home - event planner, if required

Personal assistance - Managing wardrobes, packing/unpacking luggage, and maintaining personal items, drycleaning - if required

Ensuring the proper maintenance of expensive items (furniture, silverware, art, wine collection, cigars etc)

Arranging for repairs, cleaning, and vendor services as required


Keeping track of household supplies, groceries, and fine items (wines etc)

Maintaining complete confidentiality regarding family matters.

Running personal errands such as shopping, gift sourcing





Minimum experience required is 10 years
