We are seeking a professional and highly organized
Butler/House Manager
for a private household in Ahmedabad. The role is ideal for someone with experience in luxury hospitality or private estates who can offer seamless
personal assistance
, manage household staff efficiently, and oversee the smooth execution of
private events
. The residence is home to a family of two, and the environment requires discretion, reliability, and a high standard of service.
#
Personal Assistance:
+ Act as the first point of contact for the family's day-to-day needs.
+ Manage personal schedules, appointments, and reservations (doctor, wellness, salon, etc.).
+ Coordinate domestic and international travel itineraries, including packing and logistics.
+ Handle luxury wardrobe care, including laundry oversight, dry-cleaning, and closet organization.
+ Assist with gifting, shopping, online orders, and personal errands.
+ Coordinate with the family office or business teams as needed.#
Household & Staff Management:
+ Oversee and manage domestic staff (housekeepers, cooks, drivers, etc.)--including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
+ Implement and maintain SOPs for each staff's function.
+ Monitor household inventory, supplies, and maintenance requirements.
+ Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and upkeep of all areas of the residence (indoor & outdoor).
+ Liaise with service providers and contractors for repairs and upgrades.#
Event Management:
+ Plan and execute private events, dinners, and social gatherings for the family.
+ Coordinate logistics, decor, F&B, guest lists, and on-site execution.
+ Manage RSVP lists, vendors, and post-event wrap-up.
+ Provide white-glove service during events and ensure a seamless guest experience.#
Administrative & Financial Oversight:
+ Manage household budgets, track expenses, and maintain petty cash records.
+ Handle payments for utilities, groceries, vendors, and staff salaries if required.
+ Prepare monthly reports and expense summaries for the family's review.
+ Oversee digital and physical record-keeping of inventories, warranties, and essential documents.#
Property & Lifestyle Management:
+ Ensure the villa and all its systems (security, lighting, air-conditioning, etc.) function optimally.
+ Supervise gardening, pool, and security staff or vendors.
+ Organize seasonal deep cleaning and ensure the home is guest-ready at all times.
+ Coordinate with interior designers or specialists for any upgrades or enhancements.
+ Maintain a calm and efficient household environment with high attention to detail
Desired Candidate Profile:
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role (luxury hospitality, private estate, or personal assistant roles preferred)
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
+ Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
+ Discreet, professional, and service-oriented mindset
+ Fluent in English and Hindi (Gujarati is a bonus)
