The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving market expansion, securing new client accounts, and developing strategic partnerships within the textile and apparel sector. Leveraging a strong foundation in

Key Responsibilities1. Market Strategy & Analysis (Leveraging MBA Skills)
Market Intelligence:
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis specific to the textile and apparel industry (e.g., fiber trends, sustainable practices, changing consumer preferences) to identify new business opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and tactical plans aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
Competitive Analysis:
Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings within the textile market to maintain a competitive advantage.
Pricing & Profitability:
Utilize cost and market data to develop effective pricing models that ensure both market competitiveness and maximum profitability.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Lead Generation:
Identify, prospect, and qualify potential B2B clients, including major garment manufacturers, fashion brands, retail chains, and industrial users of technical textiles.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact and pitch development to contract negotiation and closing.
Client Needs Assessment:
Conduct thorough discussions with prospects to understand their specific fabric, yarn, or finished goods requirements and present tailored solutions.
Networking:
Represent the company at textile trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to build brand visibility and key industry contacts.
3. Product & Solution Development
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the
Design, Production, and R&D teams
to provide market feedback and guide the development of new textile products or specialized fabrics that meet emerging market demand.
Proposal Development:
Create compelling and professional business proposals, presentations, and sales materials that highlight the unique value and quality of the company's textile offerings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
MBA
(Master of Business Administration) with a specialization in
Marketing
or
Business Development
is required.
Experience:
