Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Business Development Manager / Director - Sales
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, and converting prospects in the exhibition and events industry. The role focuses on supporting business growth through client acquisition and coordination during project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach potential clients through cold calling, emails, references, and networking.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for exhibitions, trade shows, and event fabrication services.
Research industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Follow up with prospects to convert inquiries into orders.
Support the senior team during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Coordinate with design, production, and operations for smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM and generate daily/weekly reports.
Ensure timely collection of payments from clients in coordination with finance.
Represent Nexhibit at industry events and exhibitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in sales or business development (Freshers welcome if enthusiastic).
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; CRM knowledge preferred.
Passionate, self-driven, and result-oriented.
