As a

Manager, Business Systems

- DevOps

you will play a pivotal role in reimagining and scaling our Salesforce ecosystem and other go-to-market and business-critical platforms. Combining strategic oversight with deep technical understanding, you will ensure that our systems are optimized to meet evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with business units, admins, developers, and stakeholders to define and execute a roadmap that drives innovation and operational efficiency. You will manage and coach on-shore and off-shore team members in a dynamic environment and help to foster a positive team culture and help enable and encourage continuous improvement within the team.


What would you do if hired?




Strategic Ownership




Provide technical leadership and mentorship for Salesforce Developers and Administrators. Drive the long-term technical vision for Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Salesforce development process, from design through deployment and ongoing optimization. Align Salesforce development with broader business goals, ensuring cross-functional integration with business systems, sales, marketing and CX operations.

Systems Analysis & Design




Translate complex business requirements into well-architected technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. Design and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce Pages, and Aura Components. Architect and implement SOAP and REST-based integrations in a sophisticated enterprise environment, ensuring seamless interoperability across systems. Leverage experience in .NET, Java, and SQL to support and enhance non-Salesforce applications and hybrid environments. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and design documentation.

Salesforce Administration, Configuration, & Development




Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce environments with a strong focus on declarative automation (flows, validation rules, process automation). Provide ongoing support for existing custom Apex code and third-party app integrations. Ensure best practices in configuration, security settings, and system maintenance. Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and leverage new features to drive efficiency and innovation.

Business Analysis & Collaboration




Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate requirements into technical deliverables. Serve as a trusted advisor for internal clients, providing solution recommendations aligned with business processes. Support cross-functional projects and initiatives by ensuring Salesforce is effectively integrated into enterprise workflows. Approach problem-solving with both creativity and analytical rigor, ensuring solutions meet both technical and business needs.

Stakeholder Communication




Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly terms. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, maintaining a customer service mindset and sense of urgency. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring alignment of expectations and outcomes. Provide updates and documentation that foster transparency and shared understanding across teams.

Who are we looking for?




Proven experience as an Engineering/Development/Technical Manager or similar role in GTM systems, preferably with Salesforce and marketing systems expertise. Experience deploying and supporting a Salesforce DevOps framework with tools like Jira, Gearset, GitHub and supporting CI/CD and QA Automation Deep understanding of sales, marketing, and support workflows and data lifecycle and how they intersect with business systems. Deep understanding of Salesforce development best practices, scalability and architecture. Demonstrated ability to define and execute product roadmaps in collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with AI tools and trends, particularly their application to SaaS and Salesforce ecosystems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on user-centric design and continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Familiarity with Hubspot or other marketing systems administration and integration with Salesforce are a plus.

Education:




Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Developer I, Developer II) are a plus.
