Job Summary SAP Developer for EWM module will act as developer for one of VWR\'s application development and support teams. This includes work on design and development of system components, implementation of technology standards, hands-on software development and support. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) Minimum 3 years of Experience in EWM Module is mandatory. Understand the business requirements design new processes to match business requirements. Convert business/functional requirements in technical specifications. Design, configure and develop the object as per the design. Create/change new or existing Integration Scenarios and Integration Processes as per business needs. Test developed objects with test cases and prepare Unit Test Plans. Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of functional specifications. Provide assistance to the Business Analyst with the analysis of ABAP change requests. Design, develop, and expose SAP BAPI objects. Development, execution, and documentation of unit test procedures. Assist in system, integration, performance and user acceptance testing. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications) A four-year college degree in applicable discipline is requried. 2 to 4 years\' experience with the following SAP ABAP technical areas: SAP EWM related ABAP design and development BADI, User exits, BDC, Interfaces including ALE, IDOC, and BAPI Module Pool (on-line dialog) SAP Script and Smart-Forms Object Oriented ABAP, and Business Add-Ins Report and dialog programming using Screen SAP v4.6C, SAP v4.7, or ECC 6.0 or greater. Rich Experience on EWM module. Hands on experience in handling EWM requirements. Need to have a good knowledge on Functional flow of EWM module. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Thorough understanding of ABAP Workbench tools such as ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Area Menus, SAP Script, Function Builder, Transactions, and Business Object Builder. Understanding of data quality issues and ability to recommend best practices for ensuring/validating data quality Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms understandable to the business Experienced in covering requirement analysis, configuration, technical design and development, Test cases and transport and cutover activity. Good understanding of the integration points across SAP modules Understanding of software development life cycle. Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Good communication skills are important, since this individual will document new methodologies/practices, present them to the team, and ensure their successful implementation. Strong technical analysis skills for creating optimal solutions for the business Effective written, oral communications and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking stressful environment, working independently and prioritizing work Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to develop working relationships Must be able to communicate with all levels of management as well as to employees in the business Must be highly motivated, have a great work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
