Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Business System Analyst (BSA)

with strong expertise in

SQL Queries, Advanced SQL, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Kafka

. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, design system solutions, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure smooth integration across platforms. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Business & System Analysis

Work with business teams to gather, understand, and document requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases). Translate business needs into clear system specifications for development teams. Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and propose feasible technical solutions.

Data Analysis & SQL Expertise

Write and optimize

complex SQL queries

for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. Work with

Advanced SQL

functions, stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization. Interpret large datasets and produce insights for business stakeholders.

BigQuery & GCP

Build and maintain data pipelines and analytical solutions using

Google BigQuery

. Collaborate with data engineering teams on

GCP-based

data workflows, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud storage. Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance within the GCP ecosystem.

Kafka & Integration

Work with

Kafka

for real-time data streaming and event-based integrations. Analyze and troubleshoot Kafka messages, producers/consumers, topic flows, and data pipelines. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with product, engineering, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Support developers during build phases and validate requirements during QA testing. Facilitate UAT sessions and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Documentation & Reporting

Create detailed system documentation, process flows, data dictionaries, and user guides. Present findings, dashboards, and reports to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

6 years

as a Business System Analyst or Data/Technical Analyst.

1 to 2 years as a Business system Analyst

Strong expertise in:

SQL Queries & Advanced SQL

BigQuery

GCP Services (e.g., GCS, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, IAM)

Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Streams)

Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud environments. Ability to break down complex business problems into actionable solutions. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
