Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable

Business Studies Lecturer

for the Pre-University Course (PUC) level to join our Commerce faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Business Studies and a passion for teaching young minds. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering a deep understanding of business concepts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

Master's Degree in Commerce or equivalent with specialization in Business Studies or related field.

Preferred:

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification. Proven teaching experience at the PUC or equivalent level is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Business Studies

for 1st and 2nd PUC (Grade 11 and 12) as per the Karnataka state PU board syllabus. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards. Deliver lectures using diverse teaching methods to cater to varied learning styles. Prepare students for internal assessments, board exams, and competitive commerce entrance exams (if applicable). Conduct regular tests, assignments, and provide feedback to monitor academic progress. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and academic events. Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students. Collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to the improvement of the commerce department.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts. Proficient in using educational technology tools and MS Office. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and management.
