Where you fit in Business Security Manager is responsible to provide assurance and accountability to Shell DS businesses operating in India so that the risks to Shell assets, staff and reputation from security threats are managed within acceptable limits. To continuously improve the security performance of the organization in a diverse & dynamic operating environment and expanding footprint. What\'s the role Provide security support and advice to Shell DS Businesses and Functions in India. Identify and assess security threats to the DS Business and provide appropriate mitigation advice in compliance with the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) and the Use of Force Guidelines (UoF). Provide timely operational security support across Shell\'s DS business operations in India. Maintain coordination with relevant government authorities, industry peer groups, and Mutual Aid groups. Facilitate and update Security Risk Assessments and Security Plans for Shell\'s DS Business assets in India. Manage anti-counterfeiting programs and initiatives as required. Coordinate with the Social Performance team in managing local communities. Establish and maintain an appropriate network of security and intelligence contacts with government agencies, industry bodies, and commercial security providers across India. Deliver security awareness and training to security personnel on sites producing or using available training tools. What we need from you Minimum a graduate in any discipline. A high caliber Security/HSSE/CR professional with relevant (security) risk management experience. Experience in Stakeholder Management is highly desirable. Knowledge of emergency response principles and management systems. A good network of contacts throughout Government, Oil & Gas and energy industries and the commercial security environment. Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (Knowledge of at least one south Indian language would be desirable). Must be capable of producing high-quality written reports and security briefs, an analytical ability and sound judgment. Ability to operate effectively within a multicultural environment.
