What\'s the role SUMMARY OF JOB This position is responsible for managing operations planning activities for Foundation Engineering (FE). This role is under the general direction of the Director of Content Product Owner. The role has the responsibility to enable FE to meet initiative deliverables (and goals and objectives) within the prescribed timeframe, funding parameters and resources. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Planning Manager I will work with stakeholders internal and external to FE. Key responsibilities include: Oversees planning process including governance, JIRA projects admin tasks, metric performance and reporting/analytics Provide analytical support for site management team Identifies opportunities and develops processes and procedures to generate increased efficiencies Enables timely project updates and to mitigate any project variances, changes with FE tribes and, across Platform Foundation stakeholders Supports troubleshooting any problems and issues impacting execution Assists senior management in monitoring execution and targets. Drive/supports continual improvement plans Lead critical initiatives required to support on-going improvements with FE Identifies opportunities and develops processes and procedures to generate increased efficiencies Provides recommendations on process and procedure modification. Assists with providing updates to the internal customers on project plan changes, particularly those that impact delivery timing Assists the Director / Site Lead with troubleshooting any problems and issues impacting execution Performance Management and Training Ensures compliance to performance management guidelines POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM EDUCATION, AMT. & TYPE OF WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB COMPETENTLY) Bachelor\'s degree in engineering/technical field or business administration required Minimum 10+ years relevant experience, 5+ year operations management experience required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrable equivalent experience required. Lean / Six sigma experience desired Combination of educational qualification and work experience can be considered for equivalence Strong interpersonal communication skills, including presentation, written and verbal. Exemplary organizational and planning skills required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge in Agile processes and advanced JIRA Software skills Advanced computer skills and excellent knowledge of business software applications such as Clarity, MS Project/Open Workbench and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
