ROLE: BUSINESS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
1. Accounting & Financial Management
Manage daily accounting operations: AP/AR, GST, TDS, and general ledger entries.
Conduct bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Track and categorize expenses with complete documentation and compliance.
Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for founders.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Process vendor invoices and customer billing.
2. Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations
Oversee the entire order fulfillment journey -- from order receipt to dispatch.
Coordinate with courier partners for pickups, deliveries, NDR resolution, delays, and lost packages.
Maintain accurate inventory through stock counts and systematic updates.
Lead, train, and supervise fulfillment staff.
Implement quality control for picking, packing, and shipment safety.
Continuously improve workflow speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and efficient.
3. Customer Service & Community Support
Handle customer inquiries on orders, products, subscriptions, and deliveries.
Resolve issues with empathy and speed, turning challenges into positive experiences.
Assist customers with returns, refunds, and subscription modifications.
Provide accurate product information, including ingredients and benefits.
Collect customer feedback and share insights for improvement.
Act as a brand ambassador, communicating our mission with passion.
Collaborate across teams to enhance the end-to-end customer journey.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience in accounting, operations, fulfillment, or customer service (multi-role experience is a plus).
Strong understanding of accounting principles; proficiency in Tally/QuickBooks preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and high accountability.
Ability to multitask across departments without losing accuracy.

A genuine love for pets and empathy for pet parents.
Experience in D2C or subscription brands is an added advantage.
